Snippets from AIM iMag Issue 59

Just in case you were wondering where issue 59 of the downloadable AIM iMag had gone, here are sample pages to whet your appetite.  Our editor has had a health problem (say what you like here: raving loony is fine) but has plodded on gallantly and all the pages of the iMag are complete. Now we just need the techno wizard to upload all the pages of the iMag when he returns from a well deserved holiday.

In the meantime, grab yourself a cuppa and enjoy these wonderful snippets from the next issue :)

Janet Granger Competition

Alice blue room set -  A doll's house room full of mini stitching

Who has the most beautiful doll's house? Could it be you?
Janet Granger has just launched a competition on her website, with a fantastic prize of £200 in vouchers to spend on her website to one lucky winner,  plus two runner-up prizes of £20 in vouchers! It's to celebrate the fact that she has been running her doll's house needlepoint kit business 20 years this year.

All you need to do to enter is take a photo of a room in your doll's house with at least four items of mini stitching in that have been made from her miniature needlepoint range of kits or chart packs, and you're in with a chance! The closing date is 14th November 2016, to give you time to stitch something specially, if you choose to. Follow the link from the home page at www.janetgranger.co.uk to see full details of how to enter.

Good luck!

This is what £200 of kits looks like!

24th Scale by Bear Cabin Miniatures

AIM member Julia Jeffreys of Bear Cabin Miniatures has recently made some tentative steps into the world of 24th scale. Julia's first passion in miniatures is 12th scale 'blackwork' embroidery, but recently she explained that she has been turning her needle to the smaller 24th scale. Shown above are her 24th scale cushions which are a little smaller than a penny coin and below are some of her original 12th scale 'blackwork' cushions photographed on one of her popular reupholstered Victorian style sofas.
